Weldotron Rebuilds Rebuild Process | Remanufacturing Specifications

Following is a summary of our remanufacturing specifications for the Weldotron 1600 series complete rebuild.

WELDOTRON 1600 SERIES COMPLETE REBUILD SUMMARY
  • Disassembly and inspection of all machine assemblies
  • Sandblast and powder-coat painting of frame, sheet metal and enclosures
  • Degreasing
  • Replacement of all bearings, sprockets and chains
  • Tear-down and inspection of PIV and rebuild as required
  • Tear-down of main drive motor and rebuild as required
  • Replace main-drive brake and 90-degree gearbox
  • Modify end-seal reset casting and upgrade to dual-acting reset cylinder
  • Replacement of all defective castings
  • Inspect and replace all shafts as required
  • Replace all drive rollers
  • Replace belts
  • Replacement of seal-bar assembly with existing seal-bar type
  • Inspection of all electrical wiring and components and replace as necessary
  • Reassembled and adjusted to test run
  • Test run for (40) hours minimum
  • Re-adjust all mechanisms and test run for (8) hours.
  • Clean, attach to skid/crating received from customer
Note: Sheet metal covers will be refinished as received.  Replacement of missing covers is not included in standard quotation. Machine will be rebuilt to the specifications of the model received.  Upgraded features will be quoted on request.
